Missed what was said at the podium? On the Power Training Grounds? Don’t sweat it, UnionFanTV has you covered. Read up on the quick hits from Jim Curtin’s Weekly Presser.

Curtin is scheduled to take the podium at 12:30 today.

12:32 PM —

Curtin is now at the podium addressing the media, including fans watching on Facebook LIVE.

Curtin opens by sending his thoughts and best wishes on behalf of the Philadelphia Union to former Sons of Ben president, Kenny Hanson.

We want him to know the whole Union family is thinking of him and wishing him a speedy recovery.

Hanson was involved in a car accident earlier in the week that left him with a traumatic head injury.

On Transfer Window

Curtin says “something still could happen.” Union Sporting Director, Earnie Stewart mirrored Curtin saying “there might be business done, but added that it might not be much.”

Curtin says there has been no discussion on bringing Sebastien LeToux back to Philadelphia.

He [Seba] is a DC United player. That’s not something we have discussed.

He assures that, as always, the Front Office will be working up until the deadline.

Major League Soccer’s Summer Secondary Window will close later tonight, at 11:59 PM ET.

Injury Report

Andre Blake looking “unlikely” for Saturday’s match versus Montréal, according to Curtin.

Fabian Herbers is still recovering from a sports’ hernia surgery. Herbers trained by himself and off to the side at today’s training.

Curtin on Jack Elliot

Jack Elliot. Again, I’ve said it. He’s been, for me, the Rookie of the Year; he’s been excellent.
